Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), one of Canada’s most recognized accounting and advisory firms has just completed its audit of Newton Connectivity Systems (the owner of Velocity). They have declared us as upholding the highest data/documents security standards with SOC2 Type 1 compliance.
The privacy, security and safeguarding of yours and your clients’ data/documents is our top corporate priority, and this achievement demonstrates that we live by the words with our actions. We will continue this pathway to improved security standards with a plan to commence SOC2 Type 2 status (the pinnacle of security standards) by year end. We owe a debt of gratitude to Steve Mitchell, our VP of IT & Applications for leading this key project together with multiple members of our IT, Operations and Finance team to ensure that PWC was furnished with all the resources and content they required to complete their audit and provide Newton with this important industry standard.
